Hi guys?

Well the topic title says it all. How do I turn my noisy hd off? I've tried to use *hdparm' in different ways but with no sucess. Very grateful for any help. Thanks in advance!

Hi again!

I found out: $sudo hdparm -S 180 /dev/hda shuts it down after 15 minutes. I'm posting this with a silent hd (it's not running).
