I use DSL on a computer without monitor, mouse and keybord
Now i need help to start the shutdown with the powerbutton now when i push on the powerbutton it just turn off the computer how does i do that?
I not understand how you use your computer. Network connection perhaps?
If at least you have a keyboard can turn off it correctly doing the combination keys:
ALT+CTR+DEL
And when computer reboot you push powerbutton.
I use it to record movies from a dreambox and i dont have any keybord to that computer . can i make so the powerbutton start the shutdown ??
I nothing know about Dreambox but can say that a DSL "Hard Disk Installation" not must be shutdown from powerbutton directly because would damage the DSL file system over the hard disk.
If is your case, at least you would connect a keyboard from other computer only when you want shutdown this computer.
Instead a DSL "running Live" and without any hard disk partition mounted, you can shutdown from powerbutton without problems.
