I have a question about "module auto-loading."

To make a program "Hamachi" run, I need to make sure this is enabled. How can I enable module auto-loading in the 2.4 kernal?

PS No pressure, but if you can, could you also explain to me about the "make" command? Programs have asked me to run "make install" but I always get the error"bash: make: command not found".
