thats nice, I did all that made a couple of partitions made a 128 meg swap so it will see it so I dont have to do it manualy?!

I made a swap partition myself, and then I had to manually mount it. But when I do so, my little control widgit thingy says that the swap is full. How is that ?

Are you sure that it is showing "full"? It may be showing "empty".

A quick check by typing in "free" on the command line should provide some additional information.

Okay, that makes sense - I thought the 100% was how full it was, not how empty it was. Thanks, cbagger.
