Everytime use DSL I am amazed at all or the features included with it.

What circuits are in the "can" ?

This would be great for running communications during power outages..
( Ham Radio ) , or even radio contesting in remote locations..

That is a great project. I've always had a thing for homemade electricity. A couple of years ago I was at Kauai, which get a steady and relatively strong breeze all day long and I was amazed to not see wind turbines all over the place.
