Hey ke4nt, as that using the standard fluxbox or the "development" download? Or has .8.3 updated fluxbox to use the rounded corners, pixmaps, etc? I've always like the brushed-aluminium look...
Hmmm... what about the slit and the fluxbox bar? Is there something new in .8.3 (haven't gotten around to getting it yet), or are you using some different stuff here?
clacker, RE: The GIMP, I'd say you're used to 1.2.whatever, version2 has changed the interface a bit - pretty sure it's 2.0 used in the screenshots.Kent,
Are you using Fluxbox 9.9 here? It is supposed to do the rounded edges thingy, but I havn't figure out how just yet. Are you still working on this? Oh, why don't we make Fluxbox 9.9 the stock WM? Too big maybe.
JoelYes folks, it is the fluxbox-0.9.9.tar.gz from the repository. There is a 0.10.x available now.. ( maybe SOMEONE will upload it )
The development version is still buggy, It's not ready to be a replacement for the stable version in DSL.
But it is an easy install, and fun to use.
I still am working on more "eye candy" for this theme.
The "slit" is the GKrellM monitor, simply placed over the slit. I miss having the mount app , which is not included in the GKrellM.
And the fluxbox taskbar w/ icons on it is how the 0.9.9 version is by default.
I have it as a .dsl backup file called 'mymacliketheme.dsl' for now, ( like my 'myfonts.dsl' , 'allthemes.dsl' , 'myxtdesktop.dsl' , etc.. )
As I make changes, I recreate the .dsl file for next time.
73 ke4nthow did you change the buttons and menu bars? i can only seem to get colours or gradients in my themes (which i got bored of doing anyhow)

Have you tried launching "gkrellm -w" ? This should load it into the slit, where you can also keep your mount app.Next Page...
