I've got an old Acer P133 laptop w 64mb mem on which I've tried, over the years, a half dozen Linux distros. They'd croak on the laptop video. Or old 16-bit PCMCIA. Or Sound card. I plopped in the DSL 0.82 disk, and it detected everything flawlessly, with no help on my part. And fluxbox is fast! I ran dsl-hdinstall, and it's on there for good now. This is a CD I'd give to someone trying Linux out for the first time. I ordered a "real" CD from your site. Good job! Mark |
