User Feedback :: Thanks! My project...

DSL has a great installation. Very easy to do: Just create the partition and let it do it's thing.

Lots of thanks go out to all who helped develop this project.

I installed to my 256Mb CF card on my mini-ITX box.

I'm trying to grab the right kernel source to compile FUSE on my main box. After this I will attempt to make use of gmailfs on my DSL-installed box.
Once successful, I'll post more information and any binaries for public use.

If you grab a copy of Knoppix 3.4  - 5/17/2004 version,
the kernel sources are there..

And you can either use the unstable debian repository to grab
gcc, g++, and make with apt-get ..
or
grab the gcc1.dsl from the DSL repository testing area

Oooh! DSL on gmailFS?

if all you need to boot it is a floppy and a broadband connection, that'll be frickin' sweet!

Post us some results when you get it workin'.
