i use aterm from MyDSL Repository
then i google around and found this
it works for me
The .Xdefaults file is a much better way to change styles than I used for the aterm app..
I used the command line for all that stuff - see the /opt/aterm/dsl-aterm file for more ..
To start, make sure you have the latest gnu-utils.. It had the mkfontdir file added to it.
Download your favorite fonts, like the artwiz fonts from the apt-get repository or synaptic.
Run the command " update-fonts-dir misc " to update the fonts.dir file ..
Add this text to the command line in the file /opt/aterm/dsl-aterm for a quick change ..
-fn -artwiz-anorexia-medium-r-normal--11-110-75-75-p-90-iso646.1991-irv
Save and restart aterm .. neato - pop-a-wheelie !

The only problem with using the artwiz fonts in a terminal is they don't have extended characters (not sure if all of them are like this).
This means that midnight commander and other applications which use line characters will not display properly.
They're excellent for menus and titlebars though.
ascii extended set not present in artwiz ?
I didn't know this..
Thanks for sharing..
