User Feedback :: Let me explain something...

I was wondering how to make all the unnecessary scripts (like autoconfiguring devices) go away on DSL boot. does any body know any tricks or files that I must look into (i know bash enough) to make dsl not to do theses silly things (i.e. broadcasting for for IP 'cause I obviusly have a static one).

i've already made changes to init'd (created such scripts like S60net and so on) but on boot it tells me that "network is already configured". So, You undrestand..... :D

I dont know :)
But I want to state that (IMO) DSL does no stupid things! :o)
Maybe things not extremely necessary for everyone....
Just like I may live fine without any heart-transplantations :o)
bye 4 now,
