User Feedback :: floppyconfig doesn't work

Tried using floppyconfig to save my dialup info. It looks for ppp tree and wvdial.conf in $HOME, but they're actually in /opt. (And you need to be root to get into /opt.)

floppyconfig is not part of DSL. Use file save and restore from the menu. Read the help page. You must first add the files you want to backup. I believe the /opt/ppp stuff is already in the filetool.lst. It was made specifically to do what you want. At boot up prompt type:

knoppix restore
